Safe Food

FREE Online Food Safety Training from safefood

Food handlers must be supervised, and instructed and/or trained in food hygiene commensurate with the level of food activity they are involved in.

The term food handler refers to all staff who deal with preparation, cooking and serving of food or who assist at mealtimes.

Records should be maintained for all food safety training given to staff and retained for the duration of employment.

The responsibility for the supervision and training of staff lies with the proprietor of the food business.
