Manual Handling Training

We are delighted to confirm that we have partnered with JM Safety Training for the provision of certified Manual Handling Training.

JM Safety Training is a specialist training provider located in Kilkenny. Having previously worked in the hospitality sector for 18 years, its founder James McPartland has tailored many of their courses specifically for the hospitality sector. They now provide manual handling, first aid training and fire safety training to clients nationwide. In addition, they also offer information and consultancy to clients on all aspects of H&S at work.

Under the Safety Health and Welfare work (general applications) Regulations 2007 employers are required to ensure that staff are sufficiently protected from injury at work including the risk of injury from poor manual handling operations.

As manual handling related injuries constitute over a third of all work-related injuries and insurance claims, JM Safety is currently offering a Manual Handling Training deal specifically for VFI members.

VFI Members Deal

Manual Handling Training program for up to 13 participants for €340.  Quote VFI 50 at time of booking. Regular pricing for Manual Handling Training is €50 p/p). (Participants can be from several premises).

Their Manual Handling Training courses are instructed by QQI qualified tutors. On completion of the course participants will receive a certificate in manual handling training which will be effective for a period of three years.

Larger or smaller group sizes can be catered for.
