New President for Vintners’ Federation of Ireland

Pat CrottyKilkenny man, Pat Crotty, took up his new role as President of the Vintners’ Federation of Ireland at the National AGM held in Clayton Whites Hotel, Wexford Town today .

Addressing the delegates at the Conference, Pat spoke of his pleasure in having the privilege in being elected President of the Federation, a privilege only afforded to a few in any generation. He thanked the outgoing President, Noreen O’Sullivan who had completed her two year term.

A native of Kilkenny City, Pat owns and runs Paris Texas located on High St and has been in business there since 1996.

He served as Mayor of Kilkenny across two separate periods firstly in ‘03/’04 and again in ‘08/’09.

Pat has always been heavily involved with the VFI serving on various committee’s over the years and specifically serving on the VFI management committee over the last year.

Married to Pamela for the past 33 years, the couple have three children, Sarah, Kieran and Rachel.
