Huge congratulations to VFI member Michael Sharkey, from Sharkey’s Bar, Annagry in County Donegal who joined cyclists from all over Ireland, UK and abroad to compete in the Donegal Wild Atlantic Ultra Race on Friday, 23rd of June.
The race is an ultra-cycling event along 555km of rugged and beautiful Donegal Wild Atlantic Way coastline. Michael completed the endurance event in 33hours and 19minutes. Michael is the 4th Generation of the family to run Sharkey’s bar along with his brother Joe.
