Taxi Reform Gains Momentum Following CCPC Report
The VFI has welcomed the recent CCPC report on the taxi market, describing it as an important intervention that supports the case for reform.
As a founding member of the Taxis for Ireland Coalition, the Federation has consistently highlighted the impact of taxi shortages on footfall and the night-time economy.
The Coalition is now calling for the development of a National Taxi Strategy to address supply constraints, improve rural coverage and modernise regulation.
The CCPC findings provide independent evidence that consumer demand is not being met — strengthening the case for urgent policy engagement.
